Fitter Harry Hateley 17/10/1917 aged
20 A single man, Harry was employed by the Walsall Electrical Company in Bridge Street, Walsall when he enlisted in the Army at Darlaston in 03/1915. He was drafted to France on Wednesday 28/07/1915. Harry was killed by the explosion of a shell while in action near Ypres during the Third Battle of Ypres. for Graeme Clarke and the people of Walsall |

2nd/Lt Ralph Oscar Gladstone 02/11/1917 aged 27 He resided at Crosshills, Keighley, West Yorks and served in the 421 (West Lancashire) Field Company, R.E. He was killed by a shell on the morning of 02/11/1917, while working alone on trench improvements in Eagle Trench. His body was discovered later that day lying near the 'A' Track and Eagle Trench, northeast of Langemark. Ralph was given a funeral by his unit on the afternoon of 04/11/1917. for Ralph Bennett |
