Rfm George Charles Kirkham 21/09/1914 aged 17
George died of wounds received on 14/09/1914 during the attack of a German observation post at Old Sugar Mill on the Chemin de Dame Ridge just north of the river Aisne.
Sitting in front of him, his friend Rfm William Derry killed in the same attack and buried in Vendresse British Cem.
