Capt Eric John Wester Dolphin 07/11/1914 aged 28
He was a regular officer of the Royal Hampshire Regiment, he led a trench clearance with another officer, when this was completed the German soldiers tried to surrender, when he went forward to accept their surrender they shot him dead.
