aged 26 He was son of Joseph and Winifred DeAdder. Peter enlisted 06/1918 at New Ross, Lunnenburg Co. Nova Scotia, Canada. He died of influenza as did many other soldiers at No. 57 Casualty Clearing Station, France. for his great nephew Peter Russel of East Dalhousie, Nova Scotia, Canada |

Dvr George Smith 01/12/1918 No. 4 Coy, 4th Divisional Train, Royal Army Service Corps. George was born in Swinfen, Staffordshire, the son of George and Maria Smith of 8, Mary Street, Walsall and later of Biddleswood Cottages, Mill Green, Aldridge. He succumbed in the 4th Canadian Casualty Clearing Station at Valenciennes from a rupture and an abscess. for Graeme Clarke and the people of Walsall |

Pte Peter James Powell 16/07/1918 The father of two children, Peter lived with his wife at 13, Chapel Street, Pleck and was employed at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Walsall when he enlisted in the Army at Lichfield in 07/1916. He had previously been employed as a whip finisher. Peter was captured by the Germans on the first day of their spring offensive, Thursday 21/03/1918, while serving at Ronnsoy. He is reported to have succumbed in a German hospital at Valenciennes. for Graeme Clarke and the people of Walsall |
