Sgt Lionel Charles William Daisley 28/05/1940 Charles was killed in action at Dunkirk, his body was found some weeks later in the sea at Cap Griz Nez. He was educated at the Cambridge and County High School. he was a prominent sportman having played rugby and cricket. He joined thye Volunteer Air Reserve in 1937 and was called up for service at the beginning of the war. for Valerie Bate
