IN ALL BRANCHES OF THE ARMED FORCES DURING THE FIRST WORLD WAR.

29 DISTINGUISHED SERVICE ORDERS WITH 3 BARS
2 AIR FORCE CROSSES
4 DISTINGUISHED FLYING CROSSES
1 DISTINGUISHED FLYING MEDAL
1 CHEVALIER DE L’ORDRE DE LA COURONNE
1 CHEVALIER ORDRE DE LEOPOLD
1 CROIX DE GUERRE (BELGIUM)
26 FURTHER FOREIGN DECORATIONS

THEY WERE MENTIONED IN DISPATCHES 111 TIMES.

THEY FOUGHT IN ALL THEATRES OF THE WAR, FROM RUSSIA TO AFRICA, FROM THE WESTERN FRONT TO SINGAPORE.

THEY RANGED IN RANK FROM PRIVATE SOLDIER TO BRIGADIER GENERAL

OF THE 960 MEN WHO SERVED, 222 WERE KILLED IN ACTION, DIED OF WOUNDS, ACCIDENTS OR ILLNESSES.

87 HAVE NO KNOWN GRAVE.

THE OLDEST TO DIE WAS 45 AND THE YOUNGEST JUST 17.
